PCGamer's Rich McCormick: the voice of an angel.

So, I mentioned yesterday the strong correlation, if not causation, between friendship and vivid depictions of defecation - it was quickly pointed out to me that this is one of the lesser cartoon crimes I've committed against the people I know and hold dear. I will resist posting the worst of those here, but I submit instead this monstrous likeness of Owen Hill, editor of, who does at least have a tiny cartoon wango. And in the picture, ha ha.

The length of time I've known someone is directly proportional to the probability that I will draw them soiling themselves with one of several possible bodily fluids, and occasionally solids too. In this picture of [REDACTED], it may even be a mixture of both. Poor old, chap. Parp!

Now, I'm not saying that Oshawott is the single most sinister motherfucking thing Nintendo has ever produced. I'm not saying that. I'd never say that. At least, not while Oshawott is holding a straight razor against my carotid artery.

I'm lucky enough to illustrate three of Edge magazine's columns every month. Sometimes, the things I draw are even half-way relevant to the article in question.

The Call of Duty series has suffered something of a backlash with recent instalments, but I'd like you to know that I cultivated a borderline-irrational hatred of the games long before anyone else. Nonetheless, because I like money, I was happy to knock together this timeline for last year's GamesMaster CoD Special.

I made Reddit's frontpage! And not because of my Cthulhu-doing-goatse tattoo! Instead I photoshopped some armour and golden booties onto a giant crab from Skyrim. It was +Tom Francis's idea, as all the best ideas are.

Here's an illustration I did for the latest issue of Edge magazine, in which Pac-Man's sense of social disenfranchisement and lust for sweet pumps are brought into terrible union. It makes sense if you read the accompanying column by the ever-excellent Steven Poole - who is not only dashing but speaks French, too. Quite unfair. You can read more of his smartness here here

I drew this little Zelda-themed landscape/timeline for a special edition of GamesMaster celebrating the series' 25th birthday. It's a really lovely looking mag, all-in-all (even if they somehow managed to print my illustration at the wrong dimensions, thus squishing it) with some fine words written by my fine friend +Rich Stanton. AND it comes with a free mouse mat.

When I say free, I of course mean "free", by which I mean "included in the price of the magazine".

Here is a preview of my preview of Skyrim.

Welcome to the freshly bloggified! Since there is nothing more terrifying than a blank page, I'll shortly be filling it up with some old posts languishing in my G+ stream. In the meantime, here is a picture of my face:
